To be fair even Adam himself seemed taken aback by Randall's attitude earlier.
Sky News HD, the UK’s first high definition news channel, will launch on election night, May 6th, following the success of the Sky News Debate, which was simulcast in HD as a preview of the new channel.
CNN's International Correspondents programme, on air now, includes a live interview with Sky's Head of Foreign News, who happens to be sitting on the balcony at Sky News Centre.
Obviously only a small portion of the set is visible, but it certainly seems to confirm there is no visible change to the red/blue colour scheme.
It does feel a little cluttered with the box, the logo, the ticker and the strap all on screen. Also seems a bit weird having the font on the strap the same size as the font on the ticker. Still I look forward to seeing how it works on air. Presumably the 'premium panels' will only be visible on the HD channel?
