I would say that it is Kay Burley's throw away comments that are bigging up the The Sun poll over the ITV poll. Sky News graphics seem fair.

I don't think she is doing to show any bias though, she just needs to be properly briefed on the two polls out so far.

Addressing some of the issues:

I think Kay Burley has been very decent this evening. Letting politicians debate their points can hardly be a crime in an election campaign.

I don’t see Sky regarding YouGov as the definitive poll at all. It’s got equal billing with Comres in my eyes. The other polls can’t be taken as seriously as they’re so influenced by internet voters: Lib Dem central office could simply be logged into those websites pressing refresh and voting for Clegg.

The debate seemed to flow very well which is probably a result of the three leaders becoming more comfortable with the format.

The projections and light shows on the outside of the gallery have been absolutely terrific. Great job.

Nice promo for Sky News HD on BBC News at 10 thanks to the gigantic light show. Laughing Smart move Sky.

Sky are claiming the YouGov poll as the definitive outcome of the debate, where two other polls say otherwise, and more polls and twitter opinions say otherwise. This is unacceptable, and I may send ofcom a complaint about this and I have never contemplated contacting ofcom about anything!

Channel 4: Clegg 52% Brown 31% Cam 17%
Guardian: Clegg 64% Brown 28% Cam 8%
Democracy UK on Facebook: 25% Brown - 27% Cameron- 48% Clegg
Comres poll: Clegg (33%), Cameron & Brown (30%)
GdnPolitics: Our reaction tracker's #leadersdebate verdict: positive votes = Lib Dem 57%, Lab 24%, Con 18% (over 2m votes cast)

Murdoch's YouGov/The Sun poll Cameron 36%, Clegg 32%, Brown 29%

The YouGov poll is pre-weighted like a proper voting intention poll, and therefore is the most reliable. They are able to do this because they screen people a day or so before taking part. The others, especially the ones on websites where anybody can take part are glorified voodoo polls which are not scientifically representative, including the ComRes ITV one which is an unweighted phone poll. ComRes got into a bit of a pickle last week when their unweighted figures showed a huge LibDem lead, but the weighted figures showed it much smaller.

I'd agree with pretty much all of that. Although I thought the 7 to 8pm hour was a bit messy.

Indeed- the 7pm hour could have been markedly better had they kept Anna Botting on in the media centre to allow for the double headed anchoring we had all day.

Its been good apart from Kay Burley always saying Cameron won, and Nick Clegg getting cut off more often by Adam Boulton.

Jeff Randall saying he thought Brown performed the worst. Surprise, surprise. Is it really acceptable for a Sky News presenter to be making personal comment on this subject?

Ok and there is no need for Jeff Randall's opinions now.
