Sensing Burley is nervous in fairness.

Yeah she seems a bit tense.

Urgh - Kay just said that we can watch it on HD to see every bead of sweat. No thanks, lol.

I think it would be quite good if they walked around Sky News Centre like this, just wondering up to their journalists to get the latest information like they were earlier in the media centre in Bristol.

HD graphics looking very nice indeed. Interesting that the "Live" bugs aren't on screen for long, I'm guessing that it's only like that for tonight, just as we already know that when the channel goes full-time it'll have a ticker.

Interview with Alex Salmond in Edinburgh showing that the channel can handle upscaled SD pictures pretty well.

One thing I wasn't really expecting is how much better the sound quality is on the HD channel too, even though it's (I think) just 2.0 channels.

I'm prefering the BBC's run up to the debate. Not only are they in a better location but the guests and conversation is better... oh and they don't have that Kay Burley either which is always a bonus.

Most times I've turned over to Sky, Burley looks so alone in a corridor or on a balcony and away from all the action

I'm watching on Freeview (SD obviously) and the scaling isn't right, it's most noticeable on the captions but I can also see it on the pictures. For instance there is a gable end behind Alistair Campbell right now, and there's a stepping effect every 10 lines or so. The ticker does not suffer this effect.

Burley in the hall was a mistake looked silly. Burley caught out nicely by Campbell there. She's only interested in body language.

It's definitely something that they could do in the Live Desk.

Campbell now on the BBC in person with Emily Maitlis, whereas on Sky he was down the line. It should be the other way around, Sky are hosting the whole event after all!

I don't see why they couldn't have had 2 presenters for this final build up hour, it worked very well earlier. Kay said she will be heading over to the media centre for after the debate.

Doesn't look like Sky have anyone [presenting] from the media centre. It would be better if Burley didn't have to present alone. Are the media centre showing 517 yet?
