Grrrr @ Scolari sacking being the top story on Sky News. In the words of Charlie Brooker - it's sport, not news, that's sport and sport is boring and isn't news. Laughing

However, I must admit I think Colin Brazier is now great! Didn't think much of him at first when he took to the news desk but he's come into his own.

I understand that Sky News .com will be using not only the usual area, but the newswall for presentation too. Not sure as of when, but fingers crossed we get to see it tonight.

Dunno if it is related but on the webcam there were a few people standing around the newswall a short time ago and there is a strange looking background on it at the moment.

I've just turned onto the webcam and they seem to be displaying weather graphics in a small box (like the opening of sportsline). If weather was to be presented on a smaller sized box like this it would be a lot easier to make sense of!

The SkyNews.com segment during The Live Desk was done via the newswall.

It really is remarkable how much Sky News has improved since last Wednesday,there is a feeling of a real buzz on screen that has been missing for a long time. If they are consistent with this I can see great things to come for SN.

I am waiting for them to bodge it up, like changing things, particualy the newswall background to another fake background. Just got a feeling. Hope not though!

I think the actual graphics now suit the new studio, and love the new variation of the virtual space background on the newswall. A good job of originally a bad idea.
