It looks cheap and awful. Plus there is too much Blue and Red, and no Yellow. Unfair much?

I think it's designed to be the flag colours of the UK, not the party colours.

Yep, looks far superior to the ITV set!

Which of course everyone with a half a brain can see but some people are choosing to be anal about it.

Some random live shots from the Sky Copter showing the outdoor set for Sky News at the venue of the debate, looks like Kay Burley is there with 3 guests walking about with a camera? Maybe rehearsing for tomorrow's programming?

Obviously the set is to match their graphics with the union jack, but there are subliminal effects. Why is the Union Jack all broken up, are they trying to push the Tory "Broken Britain" message, or the breaking of the Union with Scotland and the Alex Salmond's party.

You will say I am looking into it too much. But there has been a Tory bias on Sky News on the run-up to the election, and its not beyond imagination that some may pick up on these "possible" subliminal messages.

The BBC, ITV, Channel 4, use non-descript imagery and equal amounts of the colours from the 3 parties, and in the past Sky have featured more than just Red and Blue.

Martin, whilst I agree there can be slight right wing bias on the channel at times with guests for Press Preview for example, I really do feel since the election was called the coverage has been 100% fair. Are you saying that this means the BBC are biased towards Labour as their generic news branding and election graphics seem predominantly red as it dominates against the various other 'pin heads'?!

Actually, talking about bias on a journalistic level, it's the BBC's coverage that seems to skew towards Labour. A left wing culture still very much exists within the Beeb, It's a fact that they give far more time to Labour candidates during programmes such as Question Time than those from other parties. This was investigated and reported in a few newspapers a couple of weeks back if you want to double check me on this. I have to say hard hitting interviewers such as Paxman (out as a Labour Supporter) also shows a slight bias, however could you say Sky's journalism is biased? Not at this time I have to say. I was trying to work out who the likes of Bolton, Randall, Kay, Dermot support through their interviews. I can honestly say I have no idea! Very Happy

Jeff Randall is blatently pro Tory. Most of his guests are pro Tory. Legally they are constrained in their bias at present, but its this risk of subliminal messages being re-inforced, when compared to their usual Tory bias.

This along with news a few weeks back of Murdoch wanting to take complete control over BSkyB, and his continued protests that Fox News is fair and balanced.

If it wasn't for this recent bias to the Tories, I wouldn't be questioning what they would call a "stylised representation of the UK flag".

This isn't about their logo or usual graphical colours, its specifically their election colours.
