Chloe Potter doing a good job this afternoon with quite a few breaking stories about the volcanic ash story. Looking like a promising presenter for the future.

Well she certainly looks good - which is half the battle these days - but she's still a little too mannered yet. Not relaxed enough - putting on her broadcasting voice. She may get better though.

They should have The Boulton Factor every Wednesday evening, to tie in with PMQ's. It will be interesting to see what ratings Sky News gets for the debate. I hope the press don't spin it as people have turned off, because its never going to get 10million on digital channel. I'd say peaks of 1million if lucky.

Would 1million be a record for sky? September 11th is currently highest I think.

I think either the Iraq War or Louise Woodward trial did highly as well, not sure what their biggest audience is.

JT looks like he's leading the Special tonight, he's on Live at Five from Calais with Mark Longhurst in Sky Centre.
No TOTH though, just straight to Jeremy.

Some Helicopters are permitted to fly, so that could be his form of transport. However, Search & Rescue 'Copters are really the only ones allowed out at the moment. Or he could have booked ahead.

I think the record was the Louise Woodward case. They achieved 1 million for the Michael Jackson memorial last summer and at various stages of the Iraq war I think. The difference this week I suppose is that it's as close to an 'exclusive' news event as they are going to get, even with it being shown on the BBC NC everyone is referring to it as the Sky News debate.

Looks like JT and the team got the Eurostar

Ratings wise over the weekend Sky comprehensively beaten if these figures are correct,
