Not with Martin saying that its looking as though it'll be weeks away rather than days
Is it possible that it will launch on the day that parliament is dissolved? Which is April 12th.

LOL I saw that, I think the BBC News channel were using Sky's unsyndicated pictures and didn't cut the shot quick enough... that was very funny! I recorded it funny enough so will upload it later.
It was Huw's face 'Whose he? I don't think he's one of ours!'.

Perhaps for the debate then.

Yes perhaps, they have been using the new logo for it.

Starting tomorrow night from 7-8pm, Monday-Thursday, "Randall and Boulton Unleashed".
Hour long Boulton Factor tonight at 11pm, for most of the run it'll be half an hour, with the usual Press Preview at 11:30.
The Live Desk is renamed "The Election Live Desk". Expect the morning version to be dominated by the daily news conferences.
As expected, the Sky News debate will be on Thursday 22nd at 8pm.

I am sure it may not be of any significance, but the voting BUG does keep on going on and off (well, it did between 1020 and 1100).
There is a noticeable black line around the on-screen logo, but I'm surprised they've launched all the election graphics without going for a new look.
Martin Stanford's graphics analysis on the News wall even had a giant version of the old logo. Strange to put all that work in creating these graphics with the old logo, for it to be changed within hours?
The main difference on the news wall, seems to be that you can now see the walk way above it! Although this may be because the shot has to be so wide to fit them all in!
For those who are interested, as far as I remember, the doors above the news wall (behind the frosted glass barriers) lead to the Sky News Radio studios, with Sky News Active through doors far to the left of the screen up there.
