Oh dear - JT if you do read this - watch you back!!
For what it is worth, I still think you are a legend and the daddy of Sky News. Cool

Oh, for Goodness' sake, Chris. Stop flirting in public!!!! LOL. Hope you are well, by the way.

As for JT, I believe he has the kinda charisma and poshness that is somewhat lacking from tv news these days. He is good, IMO, but I have to admit I have noticed him becoming a bit more iconic in the Frost way. But, that's a good thing!

Kay on LAF would also be quite a good thing too. For all that's said of her, she is actually quite damn good.

Some caps from yesterday and today. Sorry but it's imageshack again, I always use it and it doesn't cause problems to people, you save the small cap and it saves it in original size for you.

No one wants to save the images, people just want to see them. Use a different uploading service.

Now now - you know I have only eyes for you Wink Laughing
I am not too sure if Kay would be that great on LAF. She is on air three hours a day at the moment - taking on the 5pm to 7pm slot would cut her time on the box by another hour.
I also think she would not like being on while folk were watching the soaps and local news etc. Kay Burley enjoys a good share of audience with her current show.

Really? What is she up against on the terrestrial channels during her afternoon slot? But surely for effect and credibility, she would also be good in the Sky News at Ten slot? Does that programme still exist and who presents it these days?

Well as you know, I am not a Kay Burley fan.
I would guess she would miss prancing up and down that newswall if she was restricted to the presenters desk!
I would be amazed if Sky News at Ten was not hammered by the terrestrial channels though. I do not know many who watch Sky News at Ten - but plenty who watch either the ITV News at Ten or the BBC News at Ten.
Daytime telly in the UK - to be polite would be described as 'rubbish'. The format for Live at Five and Sky News at Ten would be far too serious and fast paced for Miss Burley. However, this is just my opinion. And to be frank - yes I am bias.
Now Anna Botting on the other hand is far better than Kay.

Afternoon Live is perfect for Kay. She got it right at the 4 pm TOTH.

Isn't the afternoon effectively peak time for the news channels - a time when many stories break, and the casual viewer is more likely to tune in rather than during the evening when programmes elsewhere will grab their attention - hence why Sky give up for two hours every night and offer just a looped bulletin instead.

Really nice use of the set just now as Andrew handed over to Martin Stanford at the production desk behind the main desk for a preview of the Dot Com Show, looked great.

Bloody Brilliant Stuff From Sky Right Now!!

jib started at Andrew saying coming up next is SkyNews.Com and he asked Martin what was coming up. camera than swung over to Martin's desk for him to present from there. I know its hard to imagine just reading the text above but trust me it look fantastic.

Keep it up Sky!

Absolute b**llocks. The afternoon show gets far less viewers than L@5....or Sunrise...or several other slots on Sky News.
