Lots of audio problems in Studio B. Earlier Samantha could not be heard when doing the news summary and just now Jeremy's mic had some kind of interference on it.

Jeff Randall interviewing Jeremy Darroch, Sky's chief executive at the moment.

Edit: Glad to see Jeff didn't avoid the hard questions, a good interview.

[quote:0273661297="superbread" pid="655501"] It would be great to see a return to double headed presentation.[/quote]

If the chemistry is good it works, Bob Friend and Penny Smith, Steve Dixon and Emma Crosby come to mind, but otherwise it's awful.

On the odd occasion I switch to BBC News and the double heading looks really naff!! So Blue Peterish!!

I do enjoy the banter between Eamonn, Jacquie (the ordinary housewife) and Charlotte though.

She has just presented a baby - and therefore is proabbly now presenting her boob for said baby

Lol, that's understandable then. Razz
Just been watching Jeff Randall - I agree with the earlier comment about it looking better with more daylight than night time, very nice.

I've started dipping in and out of Sunrise now and I have to say I like it. It's still what Sky News is about, but it's definatly the presenters that make it, Eammon on weekday and Mark on weekends. The 8am hour is usually the best for me. For me, it works because it's different to other morning programmes.

I completely agree about sunrise! it seems to be since it moved into the sofa area that its significantly grown in popularity! the banter and interaction between the presenters is excellent, which is another reason I think it would be nice to see a return double headed presentation in the other slots aswell.

So how certain is a Tuesday launch for HD? I think Sky would have made an official announcement by now. Would they really leave it this late?

I imagine a more likely date to launch is the day Sky hold their Leaders Debate.

But they aren't going to make an announcement until they are 100% sure that the election will be called on Tuesday. It could well be a very last minute announcement.

What is the latest possible date that Brown can hold the election on does anyone know?
