Tessa Chapman on the 8 - 10 shift if anyone cares, never seen her before so I assume she's a freelancer?

Nope, she's a Sky reporter and has presented overnight a few times.

Also, I have it on good authority that on 19th November (International Mens Day) it will be male presenters only *and* only male reporters too!

Long day for Francis Wilson then unless Sky sign another male weather presenter in the next 8 months!

Since it's a Friday, the only slots which will be anchored by a male that aren't normally anyway will be Afternoon Live and the evening NSW.

Yes, equal opportunities and all that - Sky only employ one male weather presenter, they need to sort than inequality out.

Paula Middlehurst should have got Sky News Today IMO!!!

Paula is so underused by Sky News, it's a shame an average presenter like Gillian gets better gigs than their veteran Paula. Confused

With the changes in schedule after ditching double anchoring Sky really lost on the quality when it comes to female presenters. They have only 2 big names that have a weekday slot - Kay & Botting. Lorna is next with a normal weekend bulletin but that's not enough. Jones is wasted on biz updates, Paula on 15 minute crap and others are just random names freelancing and doing those news updates. It's a shame really cause they used to have a strong female line up.

Exactly!!!

Botting IMO is really under used. She has her own slot but it more, filling in on other slots than she does on her own. She should be back on Live at 5 with JT!

Anna Jones should be back on Sky News Today with Dermot and Mark L should be back on the afternoons with Kay "The witch" Burley.

Martin Stanford should be on longer at night with a female partner such as Lorna or even Gillian. With Sunrise ditching Eammon and going back to double header with a fresh team, new faces which sunrise has been known to do in the past! eg Dunkley, Kaplinsky

I believe the fact that Paula only works weekends is personal preference as she has young children.

Gillian doesn't get many good slots either. Sky News at 10 or a Live Desk very occasionally. Otherwise it's just headlines for her

Plus the headline updates and the business (though Joel Hills could do them). They'd probably have to let Jason de la Pena see daylight again!

How about Steve Dixon and Lorna Dunkley for Sunrise?

To be fair Eamonn and the team are getting the best ratings for a very long time. I think they have a good team, despite me taking a while to warm to Eamonn.

Actually it seems to be weekend Sunrise that is rating best at the moment despite all the advertising plugging the weekday version with Eamonn. Ratings for w/e 28th Feb:
