but I gather that "*******" is considered more offensive in the UK? It's not that big of a deal in the US.

EDIT: The fact that the filter edited out the word just answered my question, I suppose!

Don't think it really is considered that bad in the UK.

Did Sky News' reporter in Los Angeles just refer to Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds (sic) as simply "Inglorious"? What a bizarre case of censorship (on a news channel no less). Confused

Adverts in the UK referred to the movie simply as "Inglourious" at the time of release, so it's not simply the news channels who are doing this.

Katie Stallard was hilarious this morning creeping further and further towards the red carpet, knocking the barrier over several times and irritating security. I thought she was going to get kicked out! Laughing

She mentioned something on Twitter about shouting at Rupert Murdoch, what was that all about?

Yes, she spotted him some distance away whilst she was doing a live bit to camera. She barked across at him, playing the "Live on Sky News" card to persuade Mr Murdoch over for a chat. He boasted about Fox's success (5 awards if I recall) and said Avatar was in a different league to The Hurt Locker because it was in 3D and that 3D was the future. Rolling Eyes

Thanks, just saw it on Active. Murdoch didn't exactly have a lot to say for himself.

In regards to the more adventurous live shots perhaps they are part of the HD launch? Presumably these kinda shots show off set more in HD.

Kelvin McKenzie giving his thought on the Bulger case at the moment, first time I've seen him giving his opinions outside the Press preview.

Great to see Anna Jones get the big Live at 5 slot. Don't quite see why Sarah Hughes has to come back at 7 for DotCom, surely there is someone else who could do it?

Saw the 10am TOTH - was pretty wild! Lovely shot of the newsroom though!

Yea I noticed one of the TOTHs (maybe the 11am one) was a bit manic. The camera had a nice spin around the studio and didn't even get back to zoom in on the desk in time.

I'm guessing when they go HD, there will be plenty of those types of shots and they're just having a bit of a play at the moment.

Edit: Sorry fodg, looks like you already said the same thing.
