Yes, indeed, and eventually we will have a day of news produced and presented entirely by gay men and next month lesbian women and then..............................where will it stop?
It is an interesting idea but I wonder if things would change in the case of a big breaking story and it was decided that Messrs Thompson, Murnaghan and Brazier were needed. Hopefully they'd run with the all-female theme.
Nice to see Gillian seemingly being given a high profile role. Also sounds like Anna Jones will be on news rather than business. Though with Dharshini doing Jeff Randell Live I'm guessing they will have to get Lauren Taylor in to do the daytime business updates
I suspect that Gillian might do News at 10 so that Anna Botting can do Live at Five. Sunrise is the one I'm not sure about. Maybe Charlotte will take over the main role. Will probably be better than Eamonn.

I thought that but then wouldn't they have named Charlotte in the press release? Going on that press release I'm expecting it will be Anna Botting on Sunrise, Gillian on Sky News Today, Kay on Afternoon Live and Anna Jones on Live at Five

They should try go all out and have only female reporters and correspondents working aswell
Probably not practical with only one female political correspondent, no female crime/home affairs correspondent, no female US correspondent and no female health correspondent. Should a story in those areas occur on Monday either Sky would have to use female general assignment correspodents which would be far from ideal
What discrimination??? 8. of March is an international women day, a day to honor women and that's what Sky's gonna do with their females, nothing wrong there.
I doubt Eamonn, Jeremy and Dermoth are gonna be obsessing over a day off.

And the 19th of November is International MENS day - so your point is?
Infact June is international mens month...maybe we'll have a month of all-male output.
