To be fair to Jeremy Thompson im sure he would have preferred not to lead with this story but didn't really have a choice from the hierarchy of Sky News. He never really looked comfortable handling the story


Indeed. From a journalist that has covered so many historical events to leading with this nonsense. It's really an "and finally" story. Sky is getting obsessed with stories that involve celebrities.

Yeah I think while the Pakistan special is deserving, the channel as a whole has hardly had a spectacular year(although they might point to the big ratings for the MJ story)

OT but great to see Julie Etchingham getting presenter of the year, how she is missed at Sky.

Well depends, if there is a development in the Cheryl Cole saga they might be too pre-occupied.

Disappointed for Joey Jones though, had a good year.
