I'm not sure if it means the show will air from there tonight or are they just having an opening ceremony.
Oh yeah reading it again perhaps it means it's the opening. I will watch Jeff Randall Live to find out!
EDIT: Looks like you were right, still broadcasting from Sky Centre tonight.
Not on air for a couple of weeks according to Simon Bucks,Sky's associate editor on the blog
Quote:
We will start using it in a couple of weeks. I was there last night and it looks great. Also we hope it wil get us more interviews with top CEOs who are too busy to leave the City.
The BBC dealt Sky an almighty thrashing on Snow Day (Wed 06.01.10) but both channels were way up on their respective averages. In-depth breakdown:
BBC News
0900 BBC News 423,000
1000 BBC News 518,000
1100 BBC News 440,000
1300 One O'Clock News 408,000
1600 BBC News 430,000
1700 BBC News at Five O'Clock 464,000
Sky News
0800 Sunrise with Colin Brazier 245,000
0900 The Live Desk 220,000
1000 Sky News Today with Dermot Murnaghan 224,000
1700 Live at Five with Jeremy Thompson 225,000
Across the week, Sky News reached 8.9m individuals and enjoyed a 0.8% share, whilst BBC News reached 14.4m and secured a 1.5% share.
Notable though that Afternoon Live didn't make the top 10, even on Snow Day. Even when it's snowing viewers can't stomach Kay!
I agree their Haiti coverage was not up to their usual standard and I was shocked they did not send a presenter out there for a natural disaster of that scale.
Dear oh Dear, Kelvin MacKenzie having a dig at Sky News and Kay Burley in the press preview! He was talking to Yasmin Alibhai-Brown and Anna Botting about something and he raised the argey bargey Burley had with the photographer at the Naomi Campbell court case. He's very loud tonight, someone's got his back up!!!!
You'll always know that when Kelvin's on - there'll be some entertainment value!

Good on ya Kelvin, Burleys a thug and the Andre interview proved how shallow she really is.
Just before I get shot down on saying shes one of Skys superior journo's with 'great gravitas' and the like, here is a reminder of the infamous case. Not a great role model is she, to be one of the flagship anchors with her attitude is a disgrace. Wouldn't catch Anna Botting doing this would you?
