Very unlikely considering Kay signed a new contract not too long ago. Dan Lobb is GMTV's new Sports presenter which shows that GMTV do want to be more like sky news

Eamonn Holmes was rumoured also over the weekend for a possible return to GMTV. He didn't exactly rule it out on Twitter but admitted that he "loved" working on Sunrise.

New sports presenter on air tonight. Karthi Gnanasegeram. Although going by Google it would appear even Sky spelt her name incorrectly on screen!

Yes, Karthi Gnanasegaram. I wonder if she is freelance or has joined Sky fulltime? She previously presented the sports on AlJazeera English in Doha.

Prior to that she was a sports reporter on BBC London News.

And prior to that worked on BBC Three News.

Not sure what is happening with the HD project, anyone know if Sky News HD is still on target to launch prior to the election this spring?

They are still talking about launching in the Spring. Not sure if its tied to the General Election being declared but it would be nice!

Technology Unplugged from the CES is on Sky Anytime in HD today.

Same graphics as the SD Sky News, only pushed right down into the far left corner of the frame. Looks quite neat - but I'm sure they'll have some new graphics for when the full HD channel launches in a few months.

No chance of any real news on Sky or the BBC News Channel today then with rolling news dropped in favour of live streaming of the Iraq inquiry, which seems to completely forget such decisions were not made back in 2003 with the benefit of hindsight.
