Sky News is a bit flaky all round at the moment. Their reporter Julianne Needham just interviewed some climate change protestors in central London and didn't challenge them once.
Sky are very much in support of the climate change movement. There is no balance in their coverage of climate issues.

Well, at least they covered the Hadley UEA e-mail leak story which can't have done much good for the cause.

Moving on..................I caught a glimpse of an article suggesting that former BBC Biz Anchor and current Tesco Head of Media, Dharshini David, is joining Sky News as a news presenter! Perhaps it's already been mentioned in the countless pages above. But, is anyone here able to confirm that Dharshini is indeed joining Sky News?

Dharshini has been on screen for about a month as a Business Presenter/Reporter

Probably- it was pretty much all ladies last year. Helen Fospero (Sunrise), Samantha Simmonds (NSW), Anna Botting (Live at Five), Sasha Twining (overnight) and indeed Sarah-Jane (NSW).

Maybe that was the year before. Anna Botting did News at 10 as normal last year - Anna Jones was on Live at Five and either Colin or Gillian did Sunrise. Dont recall seeing that much of Helen or Samantha during Christmas/New Year. And Sasha was on daytime a bit, including News at 10 Christmas Day/Boxing Day. There was also a lot of Jason de la Pena last year - indeed you could probably have renamed Sky News the Sarah-Jane and Jason channel at times. And of course we even had Dermot doing a couple of NSW shifts
Hopefully Charlotte will be the main presenter for Sunrise again on Boxing Day (has done it the past two years)
