Looks like Martin Stanford sitting behind JT at the moment.

I think that when you save the smaller pic it automatically saves it in large size on your pc. Try that.

Loving the new set, it all looks really nice.

Has the "breaking news" graphic on the newswall been seen today? I hope it is still in existence and hasn't been scrapped!

Haven't heard any mention of it being used yet. IMO over the last few years the Breaking News newswall graphic's never looked as good or had the same impact as the original red one from 2001-2005.

Having been stuck in the office all day, haven't managed to get too much of it seen - though managed to catch the Live Desk and Afternoon Live TOTHs. Have to say, from what I've seen so far, I've very impressed!

The whole opening sequence with the crane for both Afternoon Live and the Dermot Murnaghan at 10am was fantastic - really showing the space they have to play with in that studio.

Only thing I'm not entirely sure about yet is Sunrise. I don't know if it was just me, but Eamonn looked kind of superimposed in that set. In comparison to the size of the plasma behind him, he looks like he's been stuck onto the end of it. Maybe it's just the camera angle or lighting on the first day, but I found it difficult to watch - everything just looked totally out of proportion (no offence, Eamonn!)

In my mind, this revamp just shows that the last set wasted so much space!

The desk actually looked quite well in some of the shots during the sport(you could see Eamonn's sofa on one of them)...perhaps it is a grower.

Good pan, nice shot and all but it looks a tad cramped!

During the opening the camera zoomed from the newswall so we could see the Sunrise set.

Still no widescreen on the Sky News International feed though. Breakbumbers etc. on that are all the same also.
