I think it looks better when they have an image(other than the icy blue one)on the newswall. Just to add a bit of color to it all.


They had a wide shot with a graphic on the wall for the cricket - lime green with the logos and it looked really really good!! So much better than the fake newsroom background

OMG, Live at Five background looks amazing, at last they have the real gallery behind. But there is also a part of the newsroom in front of it, it looks amazing, my favorite set up.

They have made several perfect sets in one huge building, really impressive.

Those blue fins and lights above the gallery are very nice. We realize now how underused that part of the newsroom was with that ugly globe they had before.

To sum up everything, and I think everyone will agree with me and say that the new look studio and set is spectacular.

They really IMO need to change the on screen graphics as they don't really fit in with the new look (maybe change the colour of the ticker to a dark grey/silver and the Live locator black part to grey/silver too). But I am lead to believe that when the new logo goes live this will all be incorporated at the same time. I do even think they could use the 2005 graphics package again and it wouldn't look dated and would fit in with the new classy look!

Downsides, if the newswall floor is just paint - it will get very scratched and worn after a lot of continual use so that maybe a problem. Other than that it looks great! Smile Well done Sky! This is how a news studio and set should look and be used!

Hi ginnyfan. Can I shamelessly recommend the metropol upload service?

Mainly for the completely selfish motive that I seem unable to view the larger versions of imageshack pictures for some reason. I click the thumbnail but just get a page with a blank space where the big thing should be :S

Does anyone else have this problem?
