Just been looking at the programme guide some more. From 2nd February there will be a new Live Desk at 9am. Sky Today will start at 10 and run until 1 as normal. Live Desk at 1 remains. No presenter is given for the new morning Live Desk


I would suspect a headline presenter would do The Live Desk at 9am and then stay on for Sky Today at 10am (like what Colin does in the afternoons) - maybe Samantha Simmonds??

And with schedule changes on 2nd Feb - does anyone else think that this will be a safe bet for a return to the newsroom??


Colin will present the 9am "Live Desk".


In addition to the 1pm show I presume? I wonder if the studio changes will see the Live Desk get a new presentation area,perhaps one that would allow Colin to actually walk round the studio.

Wonder what's the plan with Jeff Randall Live tomorrow? Must be from the temporary studio or Millbank even?

I didn't realise how nice the Millbank Studio looked! Very nice studio!

Yeah - the Millbank studio looked really good this morning - would be nice to see Sunday Live come from there every week!!

Also once Adam returns from his upcoming stint in the US I wonder if Sunday Live will be given a new name as the Sky Player brands it as "The Adam Boulton Show".

I hope so, do away with these "Live" titled programmes. Do you remember the last news channel that had Live in every title name? and looked what happened to them.

I am disappointed with the blatantly biased attitude shown in the questioning of interviewees by KAY BURLEY and ANNA BOTTING. They come across as strongly anti-Israel.

I've actually found Sky's coverage to be generally even handed, which is very difficult to do. If anything the Israeli government spokespeople been getting an easy ride at times.

I agree Blake - not sure about Kay, but Anna Botting has been very impartial when she has been interviewing!

I think Samantha Simmonds would be the stand in for Anna B - or was Sam on headlines for SNT??

As yet there has been no announcement about NSW - looks like its just gonna be whoever for the time being.
