Just been looking at the programme guide some more. From 2nd February there will be a new Live Desk at 9am. Sky Today will start at 10 and run until 1 as normal. Live Desk at 1 remains. No presenter is given for the new morning Live Desk

I would suspect a headline presenter would do The Live Desk at 9am and then stay on for Sky Today at 10am (like what Colin does in the afternoons) - maybe Samantha Simmonds??

And with schedule changes on 2nd Feb - does anyone else think that this will be a safe bet for a return to the newsroom??

Im probably clutching at straws.....but in the info for "The Live Desk" at 9am it says it will include the latest internet clips. I know they do this on the 1pm show, but Martin is hardly going to hang around from 9 in the morning to 7 at night just to present a 5 minute internet update on the two "Live Desk" programmes. So,what im trying to say,is what chance Martin Stanford presenting the early morning "Live Desk"?

I'm pretty certain that Martin Stanford does not just "hang around" inbetween his 5 minute update on the current Live Desk and his SkyNews.com programme. AFAIK he does a lot of work for the website now, as well as technofile, and collating content for his programme.

I wish they'd fix the Technofile podcast feed. It hasn't been updated since early November so I assumed it had been axed.

Just caught the last couple of mins of Sunrise there. Anyone else notice the CSO backdrop of the newsroom? It looked as if there was scaffolding or other building work material in there? Are they trying to reveal that there is building work going on?

EDIT: It's like a rig for lights/cameras to be attached to - but fairly sure it wasn't there before

Interesting to see Emma Hurd back in Jerusalem.

Anna has replaced Jeremy at 6pm. Rather odd but I'm guessing there is a logical explanation, i.e. Jeremy has another commitment.

Just came on here to say the same thing...... If JT did have something else planned it would seem strange to me to bother getting him in for just 1 hour!?!

Apols about all this. Managed to get a look again on sky plus so i could pause and examine and I was wrong. Think now it is just a pillar that was there before and the rig for the monitors at end of newswall. Was just the angle I think on sunrise this morning, it looked different. the other morning on sunrise, they did an interview during a report which appeared to be on the other side of the neon lights in the newsroom facing the back of the news centre, couldn't see no reflection though in any windows though!
