Sky EPG for Sky News Tonight (11pm - 11.30pm)....

"Chris Roberts & Gillian Joseph introduce a round-up of the day's leading stories and a look ahead to tomorrow's news."

Now that's going back quite some time!

Yeah before they were both shunted to weekends in much less prominent slots. I don't think they worked really as a pairing but certainly I maintain Chris is one of the best anchors Sky have and is wasted in his current slot. He does get plenty of cover work though unlike Gillian who I haven't seen on anything other than Weekend Sunrise recently.

Yeah, Chris is one of their best anchors, very good at covering breaking news but also great at the more laid back stuff.

Saturday Live is a good show for his style of presenting, but he is badly underused.

I find Chris to be a bit in love and up himself.

Gillian is boring and has no personality, I was always wondering why she got such good shifts in previous schedules. Weekend Sunrise updates are best for her.

Strange one from Sky this time.....

Sasha Twinning started at 7pm and now at 8.45pm she has disappeared and now Anna Botting has become the latest top brass presenter demoted to the 15 minute garbage.

Why does the EPG show "Sunrise with Helen Fospero" but I dont think I have seen her present Sunrise this holiday? In fact I cant remember the last time I saw her..

It would actually be notable if the EPG gave the correct information. The daytime schedule is usually right, but the evenings are frequently off-beam. You could forgive Russia Today, but Sky does actually run the platform.

Still, Virgin will always say South East Today instead of Look East, presumably as that's what the Radio Times says in Bromley.

Sasha back again now. My guess would be Sky had lined up a high profile interview that they deemed Anna would be better at handling but in the end it didn't materialise for whatever reason.

Fair point, you might be right.

But for me this week as just shown how far Sky has fallen, topped off by having top presenters like Dermot and Anna doing 15 minute news wraps. What next JT on the 15 min stuff??

Nothing would surprise me, after all Martin Stanford ( who is one of their best IMO) is hardly on these days.

The EPGs are typically wrong across all the platforms, not just Sky Digital. According to the Freeview EPG, they only have four presenters for the entire channel.

Nice surprise to see Emma Crosby this morning. Back to main presenter too, rather than the business news. I thought she would have packed up and left by now.

I will miss her.
