That shows that the over technical TOTH approach just does not work for every hour, like the original 2005 relaunch line up. It takes up a lot of skill and resources, which I guess is why we're stuck with the very basic and bland TOTH set up.

However, in my opinion, despite the slip ups that TOTH is streets ahead of the current version.

And they do a much better job than that of the Bodge it and Scarpur messup gallore BBC News channel. Who have just this second yet again screwed up another TOH sequence.

Nice to see Mark Longhurst on Live at Five tonight. Really rate Mark, miles better than Andrew Wilson.

Who did Sunrise this morning then? Gillian Joseph?

Charlotte Hawkins did the Sunrise shift this morning with Ashish Joshi on headlines.

That's good, nice to see Charlotte doing a slot, I think she's very good.

She was very good today - I think she's good on Sunrise normally but I would like to her get more slots where she can lead.

Looks like Lukwesa is presenting in front of a green screen tonight rather than the normal studio. Work resuming on the changes to the studio?

I don't think it's a green screen, I think she's just in a different place to usual. The camera keeps moving slightly.

I like Lukwesa as well.

um it may be a key like they have done for the election, looks pretty much like a key to me.

The opening wide shot was ditched as well.

Who ever is on Sky News at the moment hasn't a clue how to deal with breaking news (Israeli air strikes on Gaza).

Whoever it is they've brought in to help her out doesn't seem any more professional. Apart from him waving like a madman during the opening sequence he proceeded to butt in just as she was about to launch into the headlines at the TOTH. Rolling Eyes
