When was Karin Gianonne at Sky News?

Before she joined BBC News.

A most excellent observation.

Another question - SKY is having very often a new on-air-look - are there any plans to get a new look in the near future? Do you know more?
I hate the current look!

How unfortunate for you, it must be very troubling. I'm sure they'll change the look at some point in the future, you'll just have to cope for now.

Unlikely. The current look was only introduced in the summer. There may be some minor tweaks here and there in the coming months, but I wouldn't expect a full blown revamp any time soon. What don't you like about the current graphics? I think they are really nice and a lot better than the old look with the horrible rotating SKY NEWS dog in the bottom left hand corner.

Yeah I would doubt there would be any major graphics changes because the current ones are still pretty new. Schedule and perhaps minor set changes are more likely I would have thought.

I agree, these graphics are nice, don't take a lot of space and look fresh so they can use them for a long time.

Now, about the set changes, do you think they will ever do that, is it even possible for them to make some big changes when everything is incoroprated together and in the same style. Confused: Idea

Can I just ask, Sky spending so much money on this big newsroom, and all they do is use close up shots of the fake newsroom on the video wall!

Such a waste...

The blue neon globe wall is really nice and the bit opposite the desk where Kay does her interviews with the blue windows, plus they have desk and actual people behind.

The fake newsroom ruins the look of the Sky Centre, cheapens it I feel.

Lovely use of the Sky News centre a couple of minutes ago. Martin was inside the gallery facing the windows, and behind was a fantastic view of the studio. It really did feel like the good old days, its still a great studio! Shame they don't use it

Can't ever say I was overly impressed with Anna Jones as a studio presenter...competant, but bland in my view, but as an on location reporter, I think she is fantastic....Sky have used her quite a bit 'on location' for big set-piece stories, and seeing her again today makes me wonder why on earth they don't make her a senior roving reporter?!

She is very good on location, but wouldn't that be a demotion for her?

She is in Worcester as part of Sky's Pre Budget Report, also in the coverage:
Dermot Murnaghan at Sky Centre
Kay Burley and Michael Wilson in the City
Adam Boulton in Westminster
Emma Crosby at the Newswall
Martin Stanford with 'Unplugged' coverage on the website from 3 I think
As ever the Skycopter above Westminster...

What good is the Skycopter at Westminster going to do!? Is it literally going to watch the money flowing out of the country? Rediculous. This is hardly a visual story - it's a man with scary eyebrows reading out figures.
