Time goes back an week later in the US than it does in Europe effective last year, hence why the times were out by an hour.
Previously states that adopted daylight savings (not all American states do) changed the time first Sunday in April and last Sunday in October, now they've changed it to the second Sunday in March and the first Sunday in November.

Looking at schedules at radiotimes.com, it looks like Sky News is under the impression that the clocks go back THIS week...

LOL. Just watching Live at Five and they have just played out the funniest ad I've seen by Sky News yet, regarding how they are always 'first' for breaking news...
"Who does Brown talk to first?"
(cue clip of Brown talking to Boulton in Washington)
Boulton: Thank you very much indeed. If you could go that way please sir, I think the BBC are waiting for you.
"See it first on Sky News."

Is it me or are Sky starting to copy this 'look at us, we are better than them!' advertising tactic seen in the supermarket battle? I must admit it was very funny, but it seems to be like a childhood dig at a petty rival. Have the BBC started showing ads like this? (haven't seen BBC NC lately so not sure!)

Hi, can anyone tell me what do those 'summary presenters' in Sky News (like the ones in Sky Today or Afternoon Live) do? Do they present the bit before the end-of-hour weather?
And, is there any commercial breaks on the channel? Cuz I'm in HK and my cable platform doesn't carry SN.

They read the news summary, normally after the top story.
Yes, there is. I assume you're not from the UK.
