When did this happen?

It happened last night... rather amusing!

Any idea what happened exactly? Did that 'tile' really fell down or? Shocked

...or what? There aren't a huge range of options, really.

The screen seemed brighter without the 'tile'! Confused

Looks to me like he touched the edge of the tile which must be some sort of tint perspex or something and wriggled it out of place. I could be entirely wrong on what the tile actually is made of though!

Too bright for broadcast in fact. It would distort the presenter in front of them. Thats why whenever someone is broadcasting from a window view, the window behind them is usually tinted as even on a dull day the light would distort the presenter or play havoc with the camera.

Reboot
Looking at schedules at radiotimes.com, it looks like Sky News is under the impression that the clocks go back THIS week...

JT now broadcasting live from New York.

Really good TOTH at 5 with the Decision Time USA music used throughout the titles and headlines, makes you realise how rubbish the current music is. A nice graphic illustrating where all the presenters are located and then some lovely election titles. Credit where credits due.

Where are all the presenters located, actually, and who else apart from JT is out from HQ?? I would imagine Anna Botting and Kay Burley must be in the fray?

Dont think Kay is involved(thankfully)...Anna Botting is in San Fransico and Dermot will be in Chicago, where I suspect most of the action will take place.

I noticed last night that Michael Dodd didn't do the paper review.

This is the first time I can remember him not doing it!! I often wondered if he ever took a holiday.

The new music is a nice change, but thankfully it's only for the US election (I hope!).

Just a bit too american for my liking.

Martin was on last night with the new Touchscreen display.

It looks great and works really well, not quite as smooth as the MSNBC or CNN one but still a really useful piece of technology.

Hopefully they'll use it again for the next UK election.

It is just for the election I'm pleased to say.
