What has such a Sky legend done to deserve the midnight slot!? Sorry but even in these enlightened 24 hour times - it is a rubbish shift to present. Says a lot about how the channel is run these days.

The Midnight news slot is regularly on the most watched programme list on Barb

Well fair enough - just seemed a bit of an odd placing. Good for catching the "just out the pub" audience I guess.

I've seen worse. Take today for example, Afternoon Live is being done with Kay from the City but Chris Roberts has still been called in to do 3 minute news summaries every half hour.

I really like Chris but they always give him the worst slots. Saturday Live is a good format for him but it's only a 2hr show each week.

Interesting background on the 3 minute headline updates on Active/Online.

Sky News Headline Update

There is a different one featuring a ticker running across the edge of the studio on Tim Marshall's Active piece.

The image in the press release would appear to suggest a slight change in the "Decision Time USA" titles.

I'm curious just how many people coming back from the pub tune into the news, rather than a music channel or sport? Shocked
