Oh god Sky have put a new business ticker on screen just above the usual ticker. and its faster moving than the news one. Really annoying!

Do they really need the FTSE graphic at the top of the screen as well now they have this ticker:

I was having a little walk around the City this lunchtime and Sky News seemed to be on everywhere in receptions, bars, shops and cafes, so I guess the extra ticker's very useful to a few people round there.

Well as long as they are happy we will ignore the other 65 cities in the UK.
Surely anyone interested in business will have a dedicated business channel on.... cant imagine that if that concerned about the current climate they will be that interested in the latest artwork being showcased in a gallery being shown along side it.

To be fair, in most pubs and bars around my area have Sky News on one of the plasmas and at the moment the so called 'Credit Crunch' is a big talking point in pubs.
However I do find it annoying that they cant seem to align their graphics. They need to sort it out because it just looks shoddy.

The extra ticker is ugly and unnecessary. The black box in the top left is sufficient for market information. (Although I feel even this should only be on screen while the FTSE is still open)

I have good eyesight but I even find it difficult to read. Too small.

She's been doing that for a couple of weeks now. She no longer presents Sky news at 7.
