Really enjoyed The Live Desk with Colin this afternoon, it looks to be a good addition to the day schedule. And also nice to see a busy newsroom in the background for once!
Also liking the way the business news was presented this morning from Joel at the news wall - hope to see this format a bit more too!
And I'm wondering if we are about to see slightly changed graphics for SkyNews.Com after Martin's update on The Live Desk were the headings just appeared in the top right corner with the next title slightly faded underneath.

I was just thinking that. Just had another look at the Sky News Schedule on the Press office, which shows that Anna Botting will be hosting the midnight news. I'm sure it wasn't like this on the schedule we had before. Anyway- change in good, especially when it's better!

After seeing the pictures, it looks a bit, and a say a small bit like The Situation Room on CNN. Now an actual style Situation Room on Sky News would be good, using the news wall for different video and feeds.

I did suspect that this would happen seen as Sky News At Seven is no more - at least from Anna's point of view she won't have to sit around for 2 and a half hours between shows.
Since they have managed to update the Live At One to The Live Desk for the web - anyone want to guess on how long it will take to update the EPG?

I wonder what Martin does in between the Live Desk and the Dot Com show?
Live Desk looks great,I wonder why it cant start at 12,thus shortening Dermot's show(I feel 4 hours is just too long a slot).
Interesting aswell to see more attention given to the midnight slot, when you look at the Top 10 on the BARB site Midnight does feature every now and then so maybe they feel its something to build on.
On another note do we know if Martin will present the 7.30 News,Sport,Weather slot or will it be Anna Jones?

no they didn't - martin was in usual spot up on the mez - but they did show him from two angles (camera showing front on, and another showing his desk with computers etc.) and Jon was on sport from the normal place at the news desk.
Although I do think it might look good to have Jon join Colin and have a wide shot with both of them in

Thanks.
SkyNews.com with Martin using new graphics. Finally getting rid of the horrendous bar at the top of the screen.
