That, plus there are several presenters that I have never ever heard of before.
We are all "news junkies" here and therefore have a fair idea of who has done what, etc. Tuning into Sky is like tuning into a completely new channel sometimes, because several of the legacy presenters have gone. Replaced by "unknowns" who dominate the primetime segments, whilst some of the more familiar faces are limited to a few hours a week, perhaps late on a Saturday night.

I agree with this. Martin Stanford down to 2 and a half hours a week on Sky.com News. Chris Roberts now on for just 2 hours a week on Saturday mornings. No fixed slot for Paula Middlehurst.
Why are these first class presenters being treated in this way? I don't get it.

I believe so. Although she's featured as a guest before to discuss the weather when it's been prominent. Should be good though
The strangest person I've seen presenting Sky.com News is Derek Tedder, a good few months back now. He wasn't too bad actually, but haven't seen him reporting on Sky News for a long time since so perhaps it was his swan song.

Lisa Burke is to present sky.com News tonight. Is this the first time she's done this?

For the last few months she's been used more a science correspondent/expert/something for a while now rather than a weather presenter.

She's very good actually- is she about to move away from weather presenting?

I think Lisa did extremely well. She seemed a little nervous in places, but no doubt will improve the more she presents the programme.
