Seems that Sky News caught some of the Kay Burley/photograper fight on camera as reported by The Guardian's Media Monkey.

Video - see 1:10 in.

Doesnt look good for Kay does it. She has always come across as being quite a cold character on screen, so can't say I'm surprised. If she worked for any other news organization she would have been sacked by now.

Just watching bits this afternoon and it's such a mess compared to the BBC's offering, with Arrogant Kay, the awkward shot of Jon with his papers and not looking at the camera - they also displayed a Wimbledon score that hadn't happened yet, and BBC is by far the best offering.

Looks like Sky are quite short at the moment - tuned in to see Francis Wilson with the weather and Jason De La Pena with the updates for Afternoon Live at 12, and then again later to see De La Pena doing 8-10pm and Wilson with the midnight forecast.

There's a piece in The Guardian today quoting that Neil Sean is leaving Sky News and going to Fox News.

I thought he left before Christmas. He hasn't been on Sunrise this year.

They sure like capitals on the Sky News beta site, indeed on Sky's live site, I challenge you to find a headline which does not have a capital at the beginning of every word. Incredibly Bad English From Sky. Laughing

I was always taught at school that beginning words with capitals in a title was the correct thing to do.

As with so many things taught at school - it's a half-truth at best. For headlines, it's more common (in the UK at least) to use sentence case.

It's all depends on the House Style of the company.

Must say although it takes some getting used to,the beta site is very good. Some great features and the layout when you are reading an article is brilliant.

I have decided this post was accompanied by copious amounts of dry wit. For my own sake.
