They sure like capitals on the Sky News beta site, indeed on Sky's live site, I challenge you to find a headline which does not have a capital at the beginning of every word. Incredibly Bad English From Sky. Laughing

I was always taught at school that beginning words with capitals in a title was the correct thing to do.

As with so many things taught at school - it's a half-truth at best. For headlines, it's more common (in the UK at least) to use sentence case.

The name of the Weather Blog is extremely sexist and I do hope they change the name. If not they should launch "the Sport Boys" - but of course that would never happen because that would be sexist wouldn't it? Double standards.

Sky News is closing it's Dublin bureau and, for the second time, abandoning the Irish Republic.
The company has now ditched all of the staff it employed in Éire in March of 2004.

I think this Sarah-Jane Mee girl - who's on now - is the future of Sky News. She's a) very good and b) absolutely staggeringly, jaw-droppingly, breath-takingly, mind-blowingly, stunningly beautiful.

Surely they can't keep her confined to nightshifts for much longer? Or has she already done some other shifts? She's heading for the big time. If I were ITN or the Beeb I'd sign her up right now.

She is very good isn't she? I was half expecting them to use her to cover Natasha's maternity leave on Five News, but they've got an equally good looking girl to do that (not sure of her name?).

If it's the same Sarah Jane Mee, she worked on Central News for a long time as the sports presenter, and very good she was too. Very strange for her next to be seen on Sky News, I'd have expected her more on Sky Sports News.

Is Sarah Jane Mee the one who goes out with ITV News' Geraint Vincent?

Sarah also used to co-present the breakfast show on Heart FM (midlands) until a few months ago.
