Overall I think it's an improvement on how it was, though the headline straps seem a bit dodgy in their appearance. It reminds me a bit of how it used to look before they switched the the 'boxed' style of graphics, which I seem to recall where unpopular at the time of being implemented.

I can understand why the BBC staff have been keeping quiet about their new look/changes, as this refresh from Sky has come / been timed a few weeks prior. I do like the less cluttered graphics feel, though am currently only going on the clips & captures uploaded here.

Would the feed that goes to trains & the stations be affected. Strangely this morning the screens which show Sky News weren't working on the train and the big screen at Birmingham New Street station was off?

Not seen it on screen, just going off caps & vid posted here (for which thanks) - but I think it's a huge improvement, and can't see much wrong with it.

It's so much tidier and clearer than before.

On the whole I like it much better than the last graphics.

I was half expecting to see the new weather graphics as well...anyone know what is happening with that?

I dont think its been used yet,other than on the yellow ticker obviously.

Huge improvement, much tidier. Love the strap animations and gloss effects. Obviously taking cues from CNNi, but that's not a bad thing.

Very true, when i saw it this morning i immediately thought of the CNNI less clutter ideology.

I've just noticed the split screen background has now changed. Earlier, during Sunrise, it was the old TOTH background, now on Sky News Today its the new TOTH styled background.

Breaking News straps are not yellow as far as i've seen.

Quite like the straps - they certainly take up less space than the old batch, but my god, that TOTH sequence is just awfull!! I just think its so tacky!
