I note from the Sky News website that Emma Crosby is being labelled as a "Sky News Business Presenter". Has she formally left general news presentation and only now handling biz stories, or mixing both?

IIRC, Juliette Foster did something similar when she was at Sky News.

Whilst discussing the rabies story on Sunrise earlier, they showed silhouettes of the three animals that transmit the disease: dogs, monkeys and bats.

(still using it 3 hours later)

I thought to myself, I know that image that they used for the bat....it's the same shape as this logo:

The current Batman logo no less.

Haha, well spotted. But that's no monkey, is it? Looks more like Shrek. And the dog..well maybe that's from 101 Dalmations.

Nah the dog's from Lady & The Tramp.

The monkey is Tumble Tower.

Aye... made me smile at 6:10 this morning at the end of my sixth-straight nightshift.

I'm wondering what implications there would be for Sky if Warner Bros found out they were knocking off their intellectual property?

I guess they've got the work experience boy on GFX today.. who couldn't be bothered to Google "bat silhouette".

I thought Martin Stanford's "Unplugged" Debate coverage was superb, there was half an hour of build up, analysis in the breaks and then an hours analysis after it ended, just gone offline now. (That makes it sound like coverage of a football match, sorry). Really good to see Martin on air for an extended period of time, the debate between the guests was very entertaining too. Martin is doing more Unplugged shows, every weds lunch starting on the 7th of May IIRC. Looking forward to them, really refreshing.

The BBC will be using bloggers extensively in their coverage of the local elections, to try and get the results first from their contacts. Good idea, normally Sky would have come up with something like that, I remember Martin using blogs analysis in their Super Tuesday results coverage.
