Thanks for the conformation josh. I think that area was mostly used by anchors. I remember once I saw Colin and Emma sitting there about 15 minutes before SNT starts, it was during Sunrise.

I loved those boxed graphics! I remember on the Reach for the Sky website, there were a few videos and you could just about see them. IIRC the ticker was black with a white border around it.

I'd much rather have them on screen than the graphics we have now, they looked so simple, shame we never seen much of them.

I hate those, look too simple and amateurish.

I miss the classiness of the 2005 graphics, and the blue colours in the graphics...

Not very interesting, CLEAN, and SIMPLE but those outlines would play havoc on CRT TVs and not as nice as the 2005 graphics we eventually got.

Ashish Joshi is improving all the time. He's already better than Andrew Wilson.

Actually I think this is the biggest problem with the new presenters, they show no spark or personality outside of reading the autocue.

That's what separates them from the likes of Kay, Jeremy, Adam Boulton etc...

^^^ I agree.I think that's what Sky wants of them , to be robots who stand and read the same news 15 minutes every f**king 15 minutes (in words of Paula Middlehurst ).
