Looks like it has a lovely cinema and also a Little Waitrose! Pretty cool offices to work in...

Little Waitrose

The Little Waitrose store situated inside Sky Central will be exclusive for Sky employees and will be the UK's first cashless supermarket store.

Well being situated in an office building, I would hope not just anyone could roll up and do some shopping..

I like the ticker that wraps round the bottom of the box - Will it turn yellow when they have breaking news?

Doesn't that box look small? - Kay said they hope to be in there from the first week in September.

I imagine it'll look much bigger on screen.

Does Sky News HD have any plans to FTA? Sky are falling behind a bit.

It would be useful, but Sky News, along with Challenge and Pick are on the platform to fill Sky's SD slots on the relevant multiplex.

I no longer watch Sky News via linear tv, instead via the YouTube stream in 1080p HD via a NOW TV Smart Box.

Doubt Sky News HD will be made free to air until such point Ofcom mandate all channels should be in HD. Definitely not on Freeview as HD is one of their selling points for their own platform.

When we first saw the Broadcasting House newsroom and Studio E sans set, I remember everyone complaining that it looked tiny and that they weren't expecting another N9 to put up with - if this turns out anything like that it'll actually be a decent size.

Nobody has actually posted pictures here yet so I've collated images publicly available on Twitter of the new Sky Central building into the following spoiler:

Looking at some people standing underneath, it looks a decent size.

The whole interior just looks drab though. NBH and BBC Salford certainly looks way more vibrant and stylish inside. I'm guessing Sky News will look even more white-washed when they move to this new studio.
