Sky News 2015 new look

Very, very nice. I was afraid they would go completely flat, which is a trend I dislike, but they've been subtle with the reflections and gradients.

The line with the quote from Liz Truss doesn't seem quite as easy to read in that font.

Interesting that the straps are now folding into the picture rather than flying from the left with a blue flash effect.

Compared to this, the BBC's are rather messy.

Election Newsroom live is really good. Putting it on my Sky+ so I can focus on the main Sky coverage.

The election night intro sequence has already been loaded up, for those who are interested.

I was just thinking the same thing. Who'da thought that SkyNews would be cleaner fresher and simplistic with out being too modern looking than BBC. Aunty is starting to look like Great Grandma IMO. Refresh?

Graphics are really, really nice. Slick and clean. Looking forward to seeing the full new look tomorrow.

I think Sky's graphics, particularly the seat counter, are better designed and take up less space. But remember, Sky's graphics are designed for HD first whereas the BBC's still adhere to 4:3 safe areas and designed for SD, particuarly when it comes to font size and thickness.

Nice graphics, a bit disappointed by the absence of election-related intro/graphics. No union flag abbreviations, no intro which includes an own election creation with Westminster Palace etc, just the new ToTH with the election music.

That full screen seat result graphic was very very nice.
