Something to do with England winning the Ashes I suppose. It is a rare event after all.

I just hope they don't repeat them as much as they did previously.

They should only repeat them once at the most. And they should only run them over a week!

Sky News Active has had a refresh today. The background is a lighter blue, and the colours are generally lighter across the application.

Much nicer to look at.

The globe in the background is now at the very bottom of the screen behind the navigation.

Oh no, It was much better before. It is way too bright now and just makes my TV look broken.

Just out of interest, has James Rubin presented every edition of World News Tonight so far? (Excluding when it's been replaced by breaking news)

Tim Marshall seems to be in a different Iraq to every other reporter, he's always trying to put the best possible spin on events, sometimes he sounds like a white house spokesman. Perhaps he would be better suited to Fox.

Yes he has.
I have no idea who his replacement will be when he takes time off.

They've asked my niece if she could be the stand-in for Rubin on his nights off, as they want someone of the same calibre to host.

Only problem is, she has the Brownies two nights a week and swimming on a Thursday. So, she could only really do Fridays..........
