But the worst...
Content - in the bits I've watched have seemed to contain 50% football stories (is Eamon's Man Utd obsession getting in the way) and interviews with people off Big Brother. I really never thought that Sky News could dumn down even lower but they have.
Quite. It's all very well having a new studio, presenters etc. but the content was poor with too much chit chat, too much sport and not enough hard content.
It resembled more GMTV than Sky News.
I'll give it a few days but if the content stays like this I'll be looking elsewhere!
Agreed here too. Its too chit chat, even for a lighter format programe, Ive watched sky news since 8am, and I still dont have a clue about the Birmingham riots, or the hurricane .

Sunrise was not bad, but did seem to lack news stories.
Sky News Today - new format will take some getting used to - wasn't sure of the 'chat' they had round the desk after Martin did the main stories - Anna Jones wasn't sure whether to look at her co-hosts or the viewers.
The 3 round a desk looks quite good, but was pointless when only one of them introduced a story!
Seems promising, but I'll wait to see the programmes in a 'normal' news day, before I make too many comments!

is the news wall real or is it a green screen or blue screen.
if it is real how do they get all those tv's without any of them having a surround
the new look is good but all you can see on our telly is the sky news logo and ticker but we cant see any of the text before the logo such as the website or active

Studio set up looks good... probably what ITV thought their "theatre of news" would look like, but didn't.
Hate the animation wipe effect on the straps, it's incredibly irritating. I think the Sky News DOG and clock should be top left. I still don't understand Sky's insistence on 14L12 commercials on 16F16 channels.
Worst thing of all though was a "nice" cosy chat between the three presenters on Sky News Today which was so bloody Fox News it was frightening.

Another thing I felt was that the last hour of Sunrise was a bit like BBC Breakfast, with news for the first half-hour, then 'fluffy' stuff, after 8.30, although they did do an interview to do with the Birmingham riots.
I don't think there was any business news between 8 and 9 - or did I miss it?
