OK, had a bit of a look and here's my view of
what I've seen so far
...
Good
Titles - nice break from what I was expecting*
Banter - Eamon and Lorna make a good team
Simple boxes - I like the 'Sunrise' logo in a simple box
Sky News logo graphic - the way the red line goes across the logo fits in with the red line on the astons
In between
Studio - yeah it's big, but the newswall doesn't look any bigger because it still fills the frame, it's just that the presenters look smaller! It's also quite messy
The pulpit walks - when they have the 'live from the Sky News Centre' voiceover and one presenter walks to the other pulpit - of the two I've seen have been embarrasing. Eamon waddled over and Lorna seemed to drop something and had to hurry over like a dizzy cow!
Bad
Graphics - ticker/logo bar too low and too far left. I get ky.com/news (which sounds a bit dodgy!) and only the top 4/5ths of the logo. OK, it's probably my telly but someone else here has the same problem and I wonder how many others will have?
Graphics - bit dull aren't they!? And very similar to the old ones in the way that they are laid out and the way they work
Balcony - oh dear, how awful is that? The metal railings are ugly and it all looks a bit contrived with the orange juice and everything. It also shows up how messy the studio looks
TOTH - goes on too long. They spend just as long telling you what's coming up as they do with the headlines. I got bored before we got the the pulpit walk.
But the worst...
Content - in the bits I've watched have seemed to contain 50% football stories (is Eamon's Man Utd obsession getting in the way) and interviews with people off Big Brother. I really never thought that Sky News could dumn down even lower but they have.
*if the opening sequence of a news channel says what that channel wants to be, Sky is saying, "we've got a fancy new studio and our idea of newsgathering is passing a piece of paper over a wall in said studio" where News 24 is saying, "we're the world's biggest newsgathering organisation with correspondents across the globe". I know which one gets my vote. I just hope that - impressive though it is - the Sky titles are just for the launch and will actually include some of the outside world next week!

A big change of format in sky news today, but having the three presenters creates a whole new aspect of "Sky News Today" and I think, even though Ive only seen just over 10 mins of SNT, I think its going to work, much better than the previous format.
EDIT: Nope, Martin didnt ware glasses on air before.

He suits them actully
I really do like the 3 presenter format, I think it wuld be better if at some point they were all around teh studio , one gathering e-mails and texts, one at newswall, and one at desk for example.

Quite. It's all very well having a new studio, presenters etc. but the content was poor with too much chit chat, too much sport and not enough hard content.
It resembled more GMTV than Sky News.
I'll give it a few days but if the content stays like this I'll be looking elsewhere!
