HIIIIIIIIII I'm James Ruuubiiin ...

Grrr good as US Political Editor or something just get him away from the desk and dyson style set

He's almost like a ventriloquist's puppet the way his jaw moves up and down so much when he's speaking.

Anyway, anyone know the whereabouts of Kevin Owen and Gordon Radley? They haven't been ditched, have they? I'm getting worried.

Gordon has, Kevin hasn't.

So Gordon's final appearance was in the final bully of the old Sky News. Hardly a ceremoneous send-off..

I just spotted an interesting bit of Breaking News this afternoon: "Lewis Libby Pleads Guilty". It appeared for all of 2 seconds, before being replaced with "Lewis Libby Pleads Not Guilty". Oops. Smile

Yep - each day it seems as if he is doing his first screen test...

Oh dear.
I wonder how long they are going to let him get away with it, before they hussle him off presenting into some other role, to work out his contract.

he was awful again yesterday, he can't present, it's simple as that.

Oh, thanks for that. Bit of a shame. I really liked Gordon. I know he sometimes mumbled, looked a bit bored and fed up. However, surely these are exactly the qualities which make him ideal for a peak-time 8pm slot (if past decisions are anything to go by).

Take Rubin off that show, and there is no show. Most of the guests are personal friends of his that he knew during his White House years.

Is the "Live" sting something new or has it been there from day one?

I liked the way that SKY News, when showing the football report last night, showed the version of the Middlesborough match complete with the ITV4 on m & m logo in the corner!

Maybe the people at SKY were unable to tune into the proper ITV4! lol

God couldnt resist to have a tantrum then

"Live from teh Sky News Centre Sky News today with Anna Jones Martin ... " and then in the middle of that "Live ... Live from the sky news " and it was all faded out, and then Kay said, "nope its deffinatly me...."

Yeah I'm sure those v/o problems will occur a lot over the coming months and years....

One thing that really niggles me... at the TOTH on Sky News Today, I absolutely *hate* how they say what's coming up, and then they say the headlines, doing one each with a close-up of each of them speaking. I don't know why but it looks really amateur.

Looks like Steve Gaisford is one of the regular standins - he's doing SNT right now in place of Steve Dixon, plus he did the 9-12 one yesterday in place of Martin Stansford. Bit of a strange choice I'd say, he's not exactly a big Sky News name (isn't he actually off Sky Sports News?) although he's not too bad. Would rather see Allan King or Martin Popplewell though to be honest.

Also, Kay was off yesterday (not sure about today) so Mark Longhurst did Lunchtime Live.

Hmm. The swastika on the front of the desk for the top of the Sky Report was a bit unnecessary.
