Now we can hear him going "Hello?...yeah" on his phone..

Concidering he is the political editor it must be quite frustrating being stuck in the studio at a time like this when hes bound to be getting- and wanting to make phone calls.

He's been quite useful though... I mean, he took a call from one of their political correspondents just as they were coming out of the Ctte meeting and was able to say immediately exactly what had been said - so they have the exact details of what went on and what the PM's Official Spokesman said before the other channels.

Though the same thing could have been done by the reporter either ringing the Sky Centre or the truck with Adam, and the message being relayed into his ear as other broadcasters do in these situations (It isn't uncommon for court cases to be reported in this manner, with the reporter outside and the producer inside until the verdict, then rushing out to ring with the verdict etc.)...

I happened to find myself sat at the pc with Sky News on tonight on the tv, during World News Tonight with that Rubin guy.
As a casual occasional viewer, he and some of the 'programme' seemed quite amateurish and inadequate.
Is this a standard performance?

Oh dear.
I wonder how long they are going to let him get away with it, before they hussle him off presenting into some other role, to work out his contract.

He's almost like a ventriloquist's puppet the way his jaw moves up and down so much when he's speaking.

Anyway, anyone know the whereabouts of Kevin Owen and Gordon Radley? They haven't been ditched, have they? I'm getting worried.
