Yes, it will be a glassier logo, with more 'rounded corners'.
The 2005 inverted logo will not be on screen.
FFS why do you bother...as if anyone here believes your ****.
If you have screenshots and videos...post them or shut up about them!

I don't understand your unnecessary hostility towards me. You'll find out when they are broadcast, and you will see that im not talking ****e!
Many who work in the media will understand that jobs are often at risk when leaking images/videos are concerned, hence why there has been little images of the BBC News rebrand posted, apart from those used online. If I could post images, upload videos, I would, I will post a few after the revamp so you can see how the new look has developed from the concept right through to testing, and broadcast if I must. But at this present time, I can't, so I have tried my best to explain what I have seen.
- The logo is glassier, rounded slightly
- Astons graphics resemble CNNi, with a Sky News twist. Mainly red and white. Animate in a 'windows vista/time warp' style going backwards.
- TOTH has been revamped, slightly longer, around 13seconds. Music has more of a 'building' feel counting to the TOTH. Includng a 'Coming Up' feature similar to the current Coming up graphics.
- There will be new sound fx used, for Breaking News, the ticker, sports graphics, live and headline astons
- The coming up promos/web top 3 music has been tweaked, taking elements from the mainly unused September 2007 Music package. Graphics similar, but more flashy, using windows vista/cover flow style animations between each page/image. Lots of fast animations, on a dark blue 3D 'environment' in which the images are in motion.
Thats all I can tell you from what I have seen, I'm sorry I cant post any videos or images, it is too risky and I'm sure you can understand that its not worth putting jobs on the line. Sounds a bit exaggerated, but in the current climate of news broadcasting there is a lot of competition/rivalry between the main outlets.

If you want to see relaxed presenters talking making jokes, watch Simon McCoy and Carrie Gracie from 8:30 till 11:00am, they are the best presenters around, constantly chatting and even rewriting wrong scripts on-air.

Plus, I've been reading about how more relaxed and fun News 24 presenters become, but when I got to watch the channel I only saw talking heads with no chemistry at all. News 24 with 2 anchors is not better than boring Sky with one presenter for 4 hours.

Would anyone get in trouble if you posted them, but all of it was blurred, so everyone could see the layout, but not finite details?

Also, will the Sky News Active channel titles change, they are still using the 2005 ones, all be it with the new Sky News logo preceding them.
Oh and what about sky.com/news's graphics, they will need re-doing. And will Business, Newspapers, Weather, follow sport and get new full screen graphics.

I think that's unlikely!
I'm looking forward to the new graphics as well, although the current package has grown on me considerably since it was first used.
It may just be me, but it does seem to be used when appropriate, although I disagree with the News Alert strap. However its used, I just hope its Gold/Yellow!!!

I will admit that I think Sky News gets a lot of stick for the amount of breaking news it has, when BBC News 24 has similar amounts too.
I agree that I hope the Breaking News strap is yellow or gold, as it needs to stand out from the rest.
