I wouldn't take that sarcastic tone, considering all we have learned has been from information generously supplied by insiders, and responses like that, wont help with future rumours/changes.

Standards are high at the moment??
Are you suggesting that there's innovation at the moment? 'Cos I aint.
Sky News have gone into a safe mode lately. They are sat at a desk/platform, reading the news, etc. This is because management has changed, people have conflicting views as to what Sky News should be, and so until this is settled, and a consistent budget is set, they are playing it safe, and simple.

Point was against people posting without reading what's infront of them Martin. There are many 'insiders' here who get off on their ability to divulge, without considering other users of the forum
Naturally I'm exceptionally embarrased that it wasn't clear...

They've had since the summer of 2006 to do all of that. It doesn't take that long, and besides much of the '05 relaunch had been reversed by the stage that Ryley took over and other shuffles took place. The only 'face' whose left since then has been that coi carp Dawn Airey.
Oh, and as for what Sky News 'should be'. I think the constant references to online show they've got a pretty decent plan.

a change is a change, lets hope there's more than an upper/lowercase change. I wonder if Active will be our first glimpse of the new look, I am interested in seeing how they change the logo, the backing will just be static as at present, although It would be nice to get a video background like the BBC do with their sport interactives...
