Sky doing massively better than News 24 on this plane crash.

Sky had good, close photos half an hour ago, while N24 was still on a map, and then shortly after the Skycopter was on air, N24 finally got some photos that seem to be from quite far away.

Probably didn't help that the Beeb went into recorded programming about half hour after the news broke, only to crash out of it again.

Just curious - who is the female anchor on Sky at the moment? She's very good but i've never heard her before.

I think it broke just after 3.15pm, with the woman who is on now breaking the story. They had Martin Brunt on the phone at the start.

Good coverage from Sky News this afternoon.

Well, if Martin's not far off, I'd guess the ticker is different. There's not much you could do to the strap. Maybe the ticker is thinner, a bit like this:

Just a guess, but it makes it look less cluttered, and different. Hope you don't mind me tweaking your mock Martin!

Using the same style logo which Sky News AU use aswell Martin! Looks very nice. I would have the logo on the ticker though, I doubt the designers will put it at the top.
