Well, it's not really anything that is really obvious, but it seems they have made a new platform for the summary presenter at the elbow.
It didn't look like they had quite finished it as the sides looked a tad bare. I'm not at my pootah at the minute but I'll post a pic later.
It's different to the Sunrise platform that they use btw, but is around the same width.

Sky News, a bit like News 24 needs a serious kick up the backside as well.
Sort those awful "lets copy our sister channel Fox News" Graphics and go to some classy ones rather than the 2D bland ones they use now.
The studio needs a bit of jazzing up too - far too much blue, especially as they really don't encompass blue into their logo or titles much anymore.
Their studio is much better than BBC News 24's broom cupboard though, I must admit.

I read somewhere (probably on this forum) that many people at Sky were expecting the current powerpoint style graphics to look like the glassy Sky Sports graphics. Is this what they aiming for then this time round do you know? If they are, I think they will suit the channel quite well.
