Hmmmm - straps have no blue at the moment. Does this mean a return apart from fullscreen?
Blue is used as a background/base colour. The on screen astons etc remain the same colours as present. This is all work in progress remember.
Not to tell you what your job is, of course, but surely you shouldn't share this information with potential rivals? Anybody could be reading. Or am I totally wrong?

Remember Greg said that the vertical 2005 logo may be back, so I'd guess its going to be white on red, instead of red on white, or maybe what Sky News Australia have done, by removing the border.
Either way, very nice mocks Martin! I'm glad Sky are going down the minimilist route, they've obviously thought hard about their graphics since the bad feedback for the current ones.

I cant say too much. But its not a replica of CNN International. Its very 'sky' glassy pointless animations. Breaking News is looking very nice though! It's likely to all change though as it goes through further development.

I was just using the descriptions given in this thread, as we hear more, I may tweak them based on the new info. At the moment it is described as like CNN International, with the current palette

Do you actually believe this guy? His "inside" information is ****, he knows as much as anyone else here! " It's likely to all change though as it goes through further development." - Covering him self for anything!

I have seen it all working, and have videos and captures to prove it, but as you know its all 'hush hush'. It really is still in development.

I hope they don't change it much, it sounds all really nice. I hope with this though, they change business and sport graphics aswell as generic news straps.
I remember on the Editor's Blog just after christmas, they said to look out for "a change for the weather presentation" or something along those lines, it still hasn't happened..so I'd guess all is on course for a complete overhaul of the weather?
However, when I brought the comment back up again on the blog, in February, Mr. Bromley denied anything being mentioned. Very hush hush, as you said Greg!

Your ignorance is shocking and your attitude is quite frankly appalling.
If you knew anything about sky news you'df know that in the space of two and a half years we've had constant changing in grpahics, programming and editorial.
Whilst, yes, I think everybody who hasn't seen them should take such comments with a pinch of salt - such is the nature of this forum. To patronise others who are very much au fait with the nature of rumours on this site is quite frankly absurd.
Greg is rarely wrong, and if he is I'd tell you.
