Beau, we are always reviewing our graphics as I have pointed out in previous posts.
Sky News appointed a new Creative Director last August - see http://www.skypressoffice.co.uk/SkyNews/Resources/showarticle.asp?id=2204&year=2007.
You may have noticed that some changes have already been made to our newswalls and graphics backgrounds.
We are always looking to improve our brand identity but no changes are scheduled.

Martin Stanford finally doing some proper presenting next week:
from Sky Press Office

Sky News will provide live coverage of the results presented by Andrew Wilson, Martin Stanford and Adam Boulton in the US.

Presumably Martin will be in charge of the virtual graphics.
I used to think Andrew Wilson was great as a reporter in Washington but he really is awful.
Why no JT btw?

Andrew Wilson annoys me a lot. I'm sure some people like him, but his voice irritates me. Also, I don't think he's very good with handling breaking news - although I'm sure he will get better over time.

How many times has this happened now?
I don't know the ins and outs of how the graphics systems work but it seems that with the 2005 set we never had these problems, now though it's happened a couple of times in just one year.
EDIT: I've never seen this sky news site before, front page comes with obligatory picture of Kay and JT. click
EDIT: Nice little presentation on their about their European reach. click

The 'tower' graphic and weather graphic broke this morning as well. It turned the screen first blue, then green so was removed for a while.

They really ought to make sure the straps on their video podcasts (eg Technofile) are 4:3 safe
