What is wrong with Sky?
If I wanted to watch GMTV, I'd watch GMTV. If I wanted to watch BBC presenters, I'd watch BBC1.
It's a damning indictment of their current talent they feel the need to ditch them the minute they get a big name.
I know why it's happening - to try and get a big audience to follow the presenter. But in reality it didn't happen with Eamonn Holmes, and it wont happen here.

it's called atv.
So is this 8-10pm slot proving a ratings hit? Come to mention it has the ratings been boosted after the latest revamp?

I really can't understand Sky's scheduling. Anna B on from 7-7.30, then Anna J from 8-10, then Anna B on again from 10-12. What's that all about?

Listen to Paul Bromley and you'd beleive so. I tend to think otherwise.

The fact is it's common practice - there's just a huge merry-go-round; Dermot went from ITN to BBC Breakfast in the first place, Natasha has gone from Sky to the BBC and now to five, Julie Etchingham has gone from Sky to ITV.

Though in the current climate I don't think anyone is trying to get off the merry-go-round and work at the BBC...

it's called atv.
What's that got to do with it? What I mean is that one presenter is on for half an hour, then has 2½ hours off, then on again for 2 hours. Why doesn't Anna J do the 7 til 7.30 slot?
