Surely they realise a quick search or bookmarking of news.sky.com/skynews/madeleine is all that is required to find the latest enthralling installment of this saga?
I hate to get bogged down in this again but seriously, what do people expect? Links to sections detailing every missing child placed down the left hand side of Sky News Online?
How it was deemed appropriate to place the link above World News I'll never know.

Having the map so much larger than the presenter always reminds me of L!VE TV's weather presented by a dwarf. At least they had the decency to give him a trampoline so he could point at Scotland.

Personally I think Sky's are appalling because the way its presented.
It looks hideous on the newswall, and I'm sure the presenters don't like doing it that way as it would be hard on the eyes.

I imagine they have to look at a monitor to make sure of where they are pointing on the map anyway. At that distance I doubt whether they can make out anything at all on an LED screen.
I would be like trying to read teletext with a magnifying glass 2" from your TV screen.

The site was changed this February
Could this suggest a new on-screen look?
Lets hope so!
Also LIVE streaming from next week
The exact quote i have been told in regard to this is there is no plans for a major redesign of the TV look, just "some tinkering, perhaps."

Sky News Australia's new TOTH sounds wicked... Here's the new 1 minute countdown version:

I like a lot of the stuff that they're churning out down under at the moment - including the tweaked logo.

Yes, it looks very Sky Sports with them removing the border. I really think having the stacked logo over here is something which kind of ends what the on-screen graphics can look like, the only thing they can do is have it how they do, with the old logo there's more things they can do with it.

I noticed when I emailed news@sky.com the email address that I got a reply off was skytoday@bskyb.com, wonder what that's all about?
Anyway, another rant. Watching Afternoon Live today, I think everything at Sky News has just went down the pan. I mean, if you just look at the elbow area, today there was a laptop, Kay's little notebook, the stand for that, a keyboard, a mouse, and scripts. Just looks messy in comparison to what it was all like in 2005, also, what happened to that lovely shot we used to have on Lunchtime Live were it looked straight into the side of the newsroom? I really could give John Ryley a kick up the backside, I think its pointless they built, what? one of the biggest sets in the UK? Europe? and they use 1 or maybe 2 presentation points. I'm surprised Kay still stands on the stairs at the TOTH. I just think it seemed much more active when Kay would be going up and down the stairs, using the elbow, and the upstairs level.
I also think sometimes they should just physically sit infront of the desk, I remember Kay did before, and it looked great.
