Ha!

Oh there really loved... Spot on mate!

Do I detect a note of sarcasm? The point is that when the dancers are taken off there will be an outcry but when they first came on they were hated. It's not a caseof whether they are really well liked or not, more a case that people like what they know and don't like change.

Me? Never!

Oh course I'm been scarcastic. The dancers are universally hated and not only by those in the industry. Good place to talk about them actually, They were another expensive mistake.

Are they universally hated? Who says so? I don't mind them so they can't be universally hated.

P.S. Sarcasm doesn't work in the written word.

I was quite tough on the Sky News relaunch yesterday and having watched more of it I still am.

James Rubin is terrible. Did the guy not get any TV training before being put on a primetime TV news programme. As for the interview with the Uganda president, what was that all about? ITV NC and N24 must be laughing themselves silly. I'm all for more depth and insight in news ocverage but there has to be a news peg to hang the like of that interview on. Not just showing off how many world leaders the presenter knows.

Don't think much of the 9-12 team either. Neither Chris nor Gillian have much of a personality. Why do they waste Jeremy Thompson at 5pm?

Plus just seen the breaking news banner on the news wall. Not as dramatic as white lettering on red and the movement is not smooth.

Plus, on day 2 why were the weather mics still not working? And oculd nobody tell Francis Wilson to take off that bloody stupid tie which clashed with the CSO?

Yeah, I suppose its a question of personal taste as to whether you like something or not, but I find (though comments, articles and websites such as this) that generally they aren't liked.

Again, I'm forced to partially side with you. Sarcasm can work in written form just depends upon its lexical use. But thats another story...

Now, at risk of getting this thread back on subject, How do you think the third days gone Kennedy? I'm finding it slightly more "appeasing" but still prefer the overnight stuff to the ATV.

Edit Just seen above. Sorry.

The breaking news from Israel this afternoon was handled very well.

It was good to see one presenter taking 'charge' whilst the news was breaking. Steve handled it very well.

No worries Matrix! I agree that the Israel bombing was handled well (although the blob indicating the town of Hadera seems to take up a good fifth of Israel on their map!) I think Emma Hurd is a real star - knows her stuff and can explainit very easily to viewers.

Anybody noticed lots of SDI picture break up and total loss of audio on Sky News on Sky Digital? Looks like a vision fault that has taken embedded audio with it.

Looks like a distribution fault - as they've now switched to a 4:3 feed.

Just noticed that too, thought it must have been my box at first but it seems ok now.

Yep - seems to be fixed now. Looked and sounded awful.

Is it just my PC or is Jeremy's blog not working this afternoon?

It tries to get me to download something instead of opening the page.
